Remember driving up to Balmerino with Grandma Alma on an extremely cold early November day to meet the new baby Guy even then he was a big Lad.

In his early teens I enjoyed driving him in the SAAB, he always wanted to be driven faster, to rugby practice at St Andrews his enthusiasm was a pleasure to watch, the weather conditions never deterred him.

It was always a pleasure to have him visit us at Ferndale, being careful when starting a manual project or Guy’s enthusiasm would wear me out.

Meeting Chelsi for the first time was a great pleasure, a lovely lass, remember visiting Durham Marketplace with her to buy cheese!
